Tile That Looks Like Wood
The Trick to Matching your Floor with your Cabinets and Paint to your Floor
It May sound like tough and challenging dynamic, plus looks like a lot to do but, it really is a piece of cake.
The best time to check out colors of materials, or any areas of the home, say paint, cabinets, counter; not a dilemma at all. I recommend have at it during the day, simply because the light is well adjusted and the best, all shadows and hues are very prevalent and uniform. In retrospect, paint colors for walls are primarily much darker in real life than the actual swatches, so if you like a color or should I say love a paint color on a color swatch make sure you go about 2 shades lighter than the one you chose. This way you end up perfecting your color scheme. What I mean is, its normal to go over twice, but if the tincture is too dark, leaves you in a quandary.
On the Other hand, discussion about your flooring, elephant in the room. Yikes…Flooring usually is lot like your kitchen cabinets or your furniture in some cases. when I design interior spaces, I most definitely watch out how colors look when cabinets are much darker shade, and how the lights are arranged in the home. If the kitchen has an island or peninsula, a darker shade than the primary cabinets is highly desirable, or preferred. Now on the hand if the light is scarce, or not able to create that lighted area then much lighter island cabinets are preferred to make the floor and kitchen cabinets pop.
So here we go, 5 steps you have done your due diligence:
1: Match or take kitchen cabinets into consideration
2: Your Goal; contemporary, or modern
3: Check The Lightening, Skylight, Recessed Lights, lots of Windows
4: The Color you want to paint your Kitchen, what color is the paint
5: Last and not the least overall look, with furniture in mind.
